But what is attenuation?
Well it’s a way to reduce the effect or value of something so in this case an attenuation crate kit can help to reduce waters impact by storing excess water so it can be released back in to the ground when needed or is safe to do so.
An attenuation crate system is a larger capacity option from 3200L -7200L. That allows you to collect water and disperse it at need. This is a more complex system than a soakaway so has a few more elements.
400L crates are used to store the water these are then covered with a PVC/polyester Base and Lid to keep water inside the crates. These are then used with geotextile and tape to cover the whole system to prevent debris form entering. A top hat can also be added to ensure you know when water is to be released out of the system.

400L Modular Crates 400 litres capacity per unit nominal (380L actual @ 95% void)
- Landflex AS Shoebox Liner base and lid – a synthetic membrane of plasticised PVC with a layer of polyester fabric inserted for stability.
- Butyl Tape to suit the package
- Geotextile G3000 protective fleece , 250gsm
