Do you need to move water away from buildings and basements?

French drains are used to prevent water logging and help to move excess surface run off of rain water.

Fench drains are trenches dug at the edge and lowest point of an area that needs draining. The process being that water moves to the French drain trench and then is moved on further by pipework to a soakaway system or a larger drainage area.

They are easy systems to implement and maintain.

Basically a trench lined with non-woven geotextile for drainage then filled with a drainage pipe and clean stone. The top layer is then finished how you wish.
