Woven geotextiles are a construction fabric made from polypropylene tapes woven together. Creating not only a strong membrane but one that once installed has longevity.
A woven membranes properties allow it to be perfect for stabilisation roles within projects. A woven geotextile can be used within sub base layers to provide another layer that not only separates other layers but adds to the areas reinforcement capability.
Due to the material and manufacture of the fabric woven geotextile can with stand high loading areas even over time. The woven tapes create a strong and durable element.
Due to these elements of the fabric woven geotextile are widely used in stabilisation projects. This could be within the sub layers or above ground in slope reinforcement or retaining walls. This tough fabric does not allow water through and once securely attached it will prevent erosion. Providing a secure cover for slopes and unstable areas.
Once secured in position a woven geotextile is UV resistant to the light and is a tough solution for any loading situation.
At Spudulica we supply woven geotextiles in a variety of sizes from small cut pieces to full rolls.
